Unical Governing Council Rewards Legal Director, Abuo with Salary Increase for Excellence

The Governing Council of the University of Calabar has commended and rewarded Barrister Jonas Abuo, Director of the institution's Legal Unit, with a one-step salary enhancement for his exceptional performance, dedication, professionalism, and consistent delivery of excellent results.

Council's decision taken at its 172nd meeting was conveyed in a letter signed by the University Registrar, Dr. Mrs Chukwuka Icha, and takes effect from November, 2025.

According to the letter, the gesture is a token of appreciation for his hard work and a motivation to continue striving for excellence.

The letter further states that Barrister Abuo's commitment and positive attitude have significantly contributed to the successes of the 14th Governing Council and the University as a whole.

The University Council, according to the letter, expressed its satisfaction with Barrister Abuo's performance and looks forward to his continued valuable service to the institution.
