Ogoja Vice Chairman Yakubu Dumps APC
Emmanuel Idi Yakubu, the Vice Chairman of Ogoja Local Government, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The decision was contained in a letter addressed to the APC Ward Chairman of Ogoja Urban Ward II dated December 31 2025.
Though he didn't state his reason for leaving the party, Yakubu stated that he had earlier attempted to leave the party in June 24, 2025 but his decision was rejected by the then State Chairman Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba.
He however expressed gratitude for the APC's inclusive leadership and for the opportunity given him to serve while wishing the party well.
