You'd Not Regret Voting For Me, Otu Assures Cross Rivererians

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has assured that Cross Riverians that they would not regret voting for him in March 18, 2023 governorship election.
The Governor, who restated this at a thanksgiving service held in honour of his Chief of Staff, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, at the Bible Crusaders Christian Mission, Calabar, promised to transform and grow the economic fortunes and restore the state to her pride of place in the country.
Hailing his Chief of Staff as a trusted and reliable ally, Otu said he (Emmanuel Ironbar) has been and an integral part of his success story extolling his leadership qualities.
He said: "I appreciate Ironbar for standing by me during difficult times. He is a complete man and strong support base.
"My administration is determination to return Cross River to its pride of place. I can tell you we have made some progress in the last seven-months and this is a tip of the iceberg."
In his remarks, the celebrator and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, thanked the Almighty God for His faithfulness throughout his journey up to the Peregrino House.
Recounting the vicissitudes of life and other odds-defying experiences, the Chief of Staff averred that through it all, God's grace has been sufficient.
He maintained that Governor Otu's mentorship over the years has provided him with great experience, pledging his unallowed loyalty and service to the Otu-led administration.
In his exhortation, the General Overseer of Bible Christian Crusaders Mission, Pastor Joseph Okoro, with scriptural backing from Amos 9: 13-15, said with Governor Otu's penchant for service delivery, Cross River State is primed for good governance.
He lauded the Chief of Staff for deeming it expedient to come back in Thanksgiving to God, adding that the gesture was a response to God's ordinance.
The event was well attended with the First Lady of the State, Her Excellency, Rev. (Mrs.) Eyoawan Otu, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt Hon Elvert Ayambem, Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh, former deputy governor, Prof. Ivara Esu, Nigeria's former Ambassador to the Republic of Mali, Amb. Soni Abang.
