Vandalization Of Govt Properties: Eddah Council Boss Calls For Arrest, Prosecution Of Perpetrators 

The Chairman of Eddah Local Government, Prince Chima Ekumankama has called on the people of Ekoli Eddah to avail security agencies with the identity of those responsible for the vandalization and destruction of government properties in Ekoli for their arrest and prosecution.

Prince Ekumankama maintained that the council would not tolerate miscreants destroying and vandalizing government properties and declared those involved wanted.

The Council Boss who described the action of the miscreants as economic sabotage and calculated attempt to undermine the effort of the Council in meeting the transport needs of the people of the area stated that since the introduction of the Eddah mass transit by his administrations, movement of the people from Eddah to Aba and other parts of the country has been made easy.

I must condemned in it's totality, the destruction and vandalization of vehicles belonging to the local government. Such act is an act of sabotage, it is a calculated attempt to undermine our administration and cause our people to go through untold hardship. Our administration will not sit and watch such perpetrators go unpunished.

They would be fished out and made to face the full wrath of the law. The individuals behind this mayhems obstructing progress in Edda land, those responsible for the vandalism of government and privately-owned properties on the 1/06/2025 will surely face the wrath of the law.

"The introduction of Edda Mass Transit was well received by all and sundry especially because it was to help ameliorate the suffering of our people traveling from one destination to another, the revival of this forgotten institutions has helped the good people of Edda reduce both cost of transportation and being able to travel from the comfort of your community. 

"I am appealing to all well-meaning residents to assist in identifying those responsible for the disturbances in Ekoli Edda. We will offer a substantial reward to any community member who can identify these culprits, thereby enabling the law to follow its proper course.

"Falsehoods may endure briefly, but the truth will inevitably prevail, despite all obstacles".
