UNICAL Medical Centre Performs Successful Surgery

he department of Health services, University of Calabar has carried out a successful surgical operation at the surgery unit of the facility.

 The exercise which was an Inguinal Hernia operation is an indication that the centre is living up to expectations and ready to attend to students and staff in need of medical attention. 

However, the University of Calabar under the management of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, is working round the clock to make the institution's medical centre a cynosure for all eyes in Cross River state.

Report says that late last year, Prof. Obi procured mufti-million Naira sophisticated equipment to upgrade the capacity of the medical centre for quality and effective service delivery to students, staff and members of the University community.
