Take Responsibility For Public Good - C'River Health Commissioner Admonishes Leaders At Easter
By Our Reporter
Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Elder (Dr.) Henry Egbe Ayuk, has admonished leaders in the state to learn from the message of Christ himself during his crucifixion as well as the angel at the tomb.
In his Easter message, released earlier today, the Commissioner said, "before his death, the Lord handed over the care of his mother Mary to John the disciple.
"Today, the angel at the tomb told visitors to go to Galilee where they will be told what to do.
"Both messages remind us to impact meaningful livelihoods on others, which is a major pillar in which the early church was built.
"Today as we celebrate Easter, let leadership be seen as supporting others to guarantee their future. Doing so will align the world with the essence of the rising of our Lord Jesus Christ," Dr Ayuk preached.
