Strike: Workers Cut off Electricity, Water From Senate, Reps Buildings

The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) shut down the National Assembly and cut of electricity and water supplies to buildings housing the Senate and House of Representatives im compliance to NLC directive.
THE BEAGLE NEWS gathered that the entrance and exit gates of the assembly complex have also been blocked by two buses by PASAN.
The organised labour had gone on an indefinite strike following the federal government’s refusal to increase the minimum wage above N60,000 even as NLC is demanding N494,000. as a minimum wage.
