Senator Jarigbe Calls For Improved Security In Cross River North

The Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has called for strengthened security network in the northern part of the State to curb crime and criminality in the area.
hailed the appointment of the new Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General Emmanuel Akomaye Parker Undiandeye.
Senator Jarigbe, who made the call while receiving the Nigeria's Chief of Defense Intelligence, Major General Emmanuel Udiandeye to his office in Abuja, maintained that security fortification has become imperative to exterminate crisis and communal unrest in and around the Senatorial District.
Congratulating the Cross River-born Defense Intelligence Chief, the lawmaker noted that the Major General Udiandey's appointment was out of dint of hard work, commitment, dedication and outstanding professionalism.
He wished him the best in his new role, while expressing optimism that their strategic relationship would yield great impact on Cross River North constituents.
In his remarks, Major General Emmanuel Undiandeye appreciated the Senator for the warm reception and also used the opportunity to condole the lawmaker on the demise of his brother in-law. He promised to be a good ambassador of Cross River Northern Senatorial District in the course of his service to the nation.
Udiandeye, who hails from Obudu LGA of Cross River State, was appointed Chief of Defense Intelligence by President Bola Tinubu on July 19, 2023.
