Senator Eteng Williams Lights Up Riverine Communities in Obubra, Etung, Abi LGAs

Consistent with his 'Project Light Up Central,' which aims to improve the lives of his constituents through alternative power source - solar-powered energy, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams has launched the latest phase of installation of solar-powered streetlights in various riverine communities across Cross River Central Senatorial District.
The benefiting communities are Isobo Otaka/Isobo Biko-Biko, Ofombongha/Yala, and Oderegha/Ovukwa in Obubra Local Government Area (LGA); while in Etung has Nsofang, Ajasor, and Abia; and Adadama community in Abi Local Government Area capping this phase.
This project aims to provide reliable lighting to enhance safety, security, and economic activities of these communities.
"Project Light Up Central is a testament to my commitment to the well-being of my constituents," Senator Williams said, adding that "I am dedicated to ensuring that every community in Cross River Central Senatorial District has access to basic infrastructure, promoting growth and development."
This initiative is part of Senator Williams' comprehensive development agenda, which also includes education, healthcare, and economic empowerment programs.
The project is ongoing with more communities slated to benefit from this vital infrastructure in the coming months.
