President Tinubu Appoints Vivian Edet, Badmus, Abba Umar, Others As Directors Into NPA/NIMASA Boards

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointmental of 6 new Executive Directors in the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

A statement signed by The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said the President approves the appointments with the firm belief that the new appointees will expeditiously and efficiently execute on their collective mandate to create the conditions required to significantly raise the contribution of the Marine and Blue Economy sector to the nation's GDP.

The appointments which include key roles in finance, administration, marine operations, engineering, technical services, maritime labor, cabotage services, and overall operations is geared towards evolving the Nigerian economy into a labour-intensive and inclusive one that creates new opportunity for all Nigerians in accordance with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Those Appointed include...

Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet - Executive Director, Finance and Administration (NPA)

Engr. Olalekan Badmus - Executive Director, Marine - Operations (NPA)

Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar - Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services (NPA)

Mr. Jibril Abba - Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services (NIMASA)

Mr. Chudi Offodile - Executive Director, Finance and Administration (NIMASA)

Engr. Fatai Taye Adeyemi - Executive Director, Operations (NIMASA)
