OPINION: Ndi Igbo Mourn Iwuanyanwu, Ubah, Onyeka Owenu

Over 60 millions of Ndi Igbo world wide of South Eastern extraction part of Nigeria currently suffering from prolonged social disequilibrium, political marginalisation if not suffocation, incessant attacks, killings and severe economic haemorrhage lost some 3 of its best in one unfavourable month of July , 2024.
CHIEF ENGR EMMANUEL CHUKWUEMEKA IWUANYANWU (AHA EJI AGA NBA) NDI IGBO
He died on the 25th of July, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 82. A patriarch , respected nationalist, passionate for social justice, equity and equality of all persons before the law and the advancement of Igbo tradition, culture , language and entrepreneurship. He was a business man and notable politician. As then President of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo world Wide he made several overtures to former President Muhammadu Buhari and the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards granting Nnamdi Kanu, the incarcerated leader of proscribed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra ( IPOB) an unconditional Amnesty as a way of restoring peace and stability in the South East.
In honour of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, this articles implore President Tinubu to soften his hearth and harken to the wish of the dead and take urgent steps to restore peace in South East.
SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH who represents Anambra South in Nigerian Senate was Chairman of Committee on Petroleum resources. He died in a UK hospital as he went to attend the son's graduation. Senator UBAH an iconic politician and business morgul who recently defected from Young People's Party( YPP) to the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) in Anambra State was said alleged to have his eyes and ambition focused towards the governorship race in 2027 having contested for same office in 2014 under the Labour Party (LP). He was just 53 years old but left behind legacies that are immortal.
ACTRESS/SINGER ONYEKA OWENU Matriarch of the entertainment Industry, vocalist, broadcaster, singer, actress, philanthropist , Humanitarian and entertainer extra ordinary. ONYEKA OWENU born on the 31st of March, 1952 in Arondiuzogu in Ideato South of Imo State was the youngest daughter of O.C OWENU Popular educationist and politician who died in a car crash while ONYEKA was barely 4 years.
His death came a week before he was to be named Minister for Education under the famous and popular Governor General Sir John MacPherson Onyeka had two male children Abraham and Tijany from a marriage contracted in the Western Region of Nigeria. ONYEKA passed on 30th of August, 2024 in Banana Island Lagos in what looks like a command performance at the Birth Day party of the quintessential woman of immense substance, Mrs Stella Okoli, the CEO of Emzor Pharmaceutical.
ONYEKA OWENU was indeed a national treasure, icon and legend who has inspired multiple generations of Nigerians and the world with her 1980 break through music such as "One love," "You and I," "Ekwe" and "Odenigbo." We console the families, friends and well wishers.
