Marian Market Traders Laud Mgt. Committee Over Restoration Of Water Supply

Traders at the popular Marian Market in Calabar Municipality have applauded the management committee in charge of the commercial center for restoring the water supply in the market.
Speaking in separate interviews with The Beagle News, the traders noted that the availability of water supply arising from the refurbishing of the bole hole earlier vandalized a couple of years ago will enhance the sanitary condition of the market and boost economic activities.
Reacting to the development, Madam Nkoyo Etim lauded the new committee overseeing the affairs of the market for deliberate efforts to restore sanity in the market.
A grinding machine operator, Mfon Okon said his colleagues in the grinding business have passed through ordeals in the past sourcing for water which is a vital ingredient in their business.
Speaking on the issue, the Chairman of the Marian Market management committee, Elder Hon. Ekpo Edet Ekpo revealed that his team opted to fix the vandalized borehole as part of measures to promote a healthy environment and conducive business environment at the market.
