Jarigbe To Inaugurate 5 Classroom Blocks In Obanliku Communities
Sen. Jarigbe Agom-Jarigbe is set to inaugurate 5 classroom blocks. across Obanliku local government area of Cross River as part of efforts to improve learning and teaching environment in the schools.
The constituency officer, Mr Egar Mgbantu who made disclosure, said that the construction of the classrooms, are part of constituency project of the Senator who represents Cross River North senatorial district in the 10th assembly.
He listed the beneficiary schools to be: Government Primary School, Bukumaya- Bisu Ward, Blukonu Migrant School Bebi, St. Peter’s Primary School Begitiatsu- Bendigie, Bendi 1, Government Primary School, Belinge-Becheve Ward and Government Primary School in Bishiri north.
The constituency officer explained that each of the five house will have six classrooms fitted with staff rooms and modern toilet facilities.
He said it is the desire of the Senator, who chairs the committee on Gas, to continually impact on the lives of the people through quality education.
"These projects were initiated on July 6, 2024 and have been completed to the glory of God.
"As the Senator prepares to inaugurate the projects, the good people of Obanliku eagerly awaits the benefits that these new infrastructures will bring.
"With modern classrooms, staff rooms and toilets, students will have access to a better learning environment, which will undoubtedly improve their academic performance.
"The projects are also expected to have positive impact on the local communities, creating jobs and stimulating economic growth as Senator Jarigbe continues to work towards improving the lives of his constituents," he stated.
While noting that this was not the first of classrooms to be inaugurated by Agom-Jarigbe since assumption of office, Mgbantu appealed for patience for those that are yet to benefit from the laudable project.
