Hon Neji Abang Commiserates with Workers on Labour Day, Urges Them to Remain Steadfast

The member representing Ikom 1 state constituency Hon. Samuel Neji ABang has commiserated with Ross River State workers while urging them to remain resolute in building a Cross River State of our dream.
In his message of solidarity on May Day, the house member said though the Nigerian worker is faced with various challenges ranging from insufficient pay to unfavorable working conditions, he is confident that, the economic policies and developmental strides of the Otu led administration will take the Cross River state civil service to enviable heights.
The message read in parts; “I understand, there are many challenges facing the Nigerian worker. A worker in Nigeria is mired in the cesspool of inflation, with a take-home pay that can barely afford a decent living given the collapse of naira compared to other currencies of the world.
“It is not in contention that workers in Nigeria are facing the worst challenges in the history of the country, But I want you to know also that the government is not sleeping on it, but putting every mechanism in place to put Nigeria back on track.
“I urge you especially workers in Cross River State to Remain hardworking and committed to your duties, because I'm confident that, the economic policies and developmental strides of our dear Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, Cross River State workers will be envied by workers in other states of the country very soon.
“As a member of the house of assembly, I assure you that, The Cross River State House of Assembly under the leadership of the Hon Speaker, Rt. Hon Elvert Ayabem, is committed to enact people oriented laws to assist the Governor deliver on his people's first mantra” he added.
He charged all workers in Cross River State to remain resolute to build the Cross River State of our dream.
