Hon Ayim Rejects Tribunal Judgement, Calls On Constituents To Remain Calm

Member representing Ogoja State constituency and Deputy Minority leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon Rita Agbo Ayim has expressed extremed dissatisfaction with the judgement of the election petition tribunal which sat in Calabar on September 25 and 26, 2003.

A statement she addressed to Ogoja state constituents and released to the media yesterday in Calabar stated that her legal team had briefed her on the outcome of the judgement of the tribunal.

She recalled attempts to truncate her mandate with the attack at INEC office, Ogoja on the 19th March which was however resisted by her constituents.

Hon Rita who acknowledged that God is not man hence He should not lie stated her resolve to consult with her constituents and supporters and legal team on the way forward.

While she assured them that she's still their Representative in the Cross River State House of Assembly , Hon Ayim thanked them for solidarity messages and prayers.

 She enjoined her teaming supporters to remain calm while she sued for continuous synergy towards the growth and development of Ogoja people.
