Group Canvasses Support for APC Governorship candidate, Professor Osunbor

The African Green Peace Initiative (AGPI), a non-governmental organisation, has called on the All Progressive Congress to give its governorship ticket for the 2024 elections in the state to Professor Oserheimen Osunbor ahead of 2024 election.
Addressing members of the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists at its secretariat along Ogbelaka Street in Benin City, the group’s president, Dr. Uzoya Okuogbosun who is the President of the organization said the ex-governor has the vision to redeem the state.
“It is going to take a human and visionary personality like His Excellency Professor Oserheimen Osunbor to redeem Edo state from the current decay, hopelessness and deadly existence.
Osunbor can be compared to former Governor of the defunct Bendel State, Professor Ambrose Alli, and is an embodiment of knowledge in every sphere of life, including intellectual, humanity and altruism.
Dr Okuogbosun further noted that Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor as governor, had a visionary leadership style which saw him embarked on massive infrastructure development of the State, describing him as the one sent to take Edo to the New age like the sage late Professor Ambrose Alli.
“He created a credit system whereby public officers and civil servants were able to access loans for agricultural purposes and in his compassionate nature he thought it wise to pay bursary to Edo students in tertiary institutions across the country”.
