Gov Eno Reiterates Commitment to Tinubu's Re-election Amid Party Loyalty
The Governor of Akwa Ibom state Pastor Umo Eno has revealed that he is in support of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
Umo Eno reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu during a town hall meeting and empowerment series held in Ikot Ekpene.
The Governor disclosed that not minding who his party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will choose to fly it’s presidential flag, he will be supporting President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return as president.
He said; "Me I don't know how to speak from two sides of the mouth. The other day, I said I was going to support Tinubu.
“People said why do I say so.meanwhile in the night, they go there and tell baba we'll support you, in the afternoon, they do another thing.
“Me, I'm supporting Baba Bola Tinubu for second term and that is because he has done so much for our state so I want him to come back and finish what he has started, Akwa Ibom does not know how to flip flop, when we stand for a course we go all out for it.
“That does not stop me from being a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, I am a bonafide member but I am also entitled to my own opinion”.
