Ebonyi State: Rep Igariwey Inaugurates Amaizu, Uwana Community Roads, Promises More Infrastructural Development

The member representing Afikpo North/Edda federal constituency, RT. Hon. Iduma Igariwey, has Inaugurated the Ogo Amaizu road and Mater Road Unwana projects.
Both roads, in Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi state, were facilitated by Igariwey as part of constituency projects aimed at alleviation transportation system within the ancient communities.
The road construction, which commenced a few months, are installed with Solar power streetlights to help restore social and business activities as well as night life within the environs.
Inaugurating the roads on April 22, 2025, Rep Igariwey, said he is committed to improving economic growth of the federal constituency with infrastructures and other empowerment schemes.
The lawmaker promised to extend the streetlight installations which started from Ozonku-Ugwuegu to Holy Child Junction.
Similarly, the first phase of Mater Road Unwana was also commissioned, in a ground-breaking reception, Unwana people expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Iduma Igariwey for always feathering the edges of infrastructural lack in the community since he came on board.
At Uwana, the former Afikpo Local government chairman, disclosed that the second phase will commence immediately, even as he promised to construct an additional road for Unwana people and will be powered by Solar Streetlights.
