Ebonyi Governor, Nwifuru, Calls For One Party System

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has called for a one party system.
Nwifuru, who made the disclosure during the enlarged APC stakeholders meeting held at Remeritona Hotels Abakaliki, said there is need for Ebonyi state to be under one party unberalla to unity and progress.
The Governor said the government is making serious efforts to establish workable industries in the state, adding that his government through the ministry of commerce and industry has made giant strides to revitalise the pipe line production company that was in a state of moribond.
He further said the industry has procured functional machines for both sorting and recycling of waste to wealth materials at Okposi Umuoghara in Ezza north local government area of the satate.
The governor observed that his predecessor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, left remarkable legacies which helped APC to achieve landslide victory during the last general elections in the state.
He said the former Governor has laid a solid foundation for unifying Ebonyians into one viable, trusted and reliable party as one big family, stressing that Ebonyi people as brothers and sisters have no justifiable reasons for acrimony, fighting and bickering.
It is on this note that "there is need for all Ebiyians to be in one party for the development of the state," he stated.
The Governor also used the opportunity to express his gratitude to all Ebonyians and APC faithfuls for their undiluted support of his administration, and vowed never to relent in his efforts to have a better Ebonyi State filled with better opportunities.
