C'River Receives N20b NG-CARES Reimbursement Fund From FG

Cross River state have received the sum of N20bn NG-CARES from federal government. 

Cross River ranks 6 on table  behind Zamfara N49bn, Nasarawa N27bn, Plateau N26bn, Gombe N25bn and Kebbi N21bn.

Cross River is among the 34 states and FCT that shared a total sum of N438, 368, 915, 030.24 after the third Independent Verification Assessment.

NG-CARES is a programme for Results (Plot R) Intervention where states and FCT invest their resources, producer  results in line with agree protocols and set reimbursed by the federal government after an independent verification exercise.

NG-CARES is to expand access to livelihood support and food security services and grants for poor and vulnerable households and firms
