Calabar Agog As Tourism Bureau Unveils One Stop Entertainment Hub For Fun Seekers

The ancient city of Calabar is once again agog as toruism bureau unveiled one-stop entertainment hub for fun seekers at Marina Water front in Calabar. 

It is a one stop hub for all categories of people including children, adults, revellers and funky VIPs.

The fun city hub has general siting area, kids playground, games arcade, arts and crafts centers, and VIP areas for exclusive guests.

Fun seekers would be treated to memorable thrilling performances, old school tunes, Naija pop songs, and soul music vibes that reinvent old times experiences.

There would also be various games to keep quests alive and busy while savouring the ambience at the city.

The games include snooker, draft,with giant board, tennis, scrabbles, X and Os, PS 4, Virtual Reality (VR) Experience, Ludo with giant dice and paint ball.

Besides, African cuisines such as Edikaikong, Afang, native jollof rice, and Egusi would be served with swallow of your choice.

The ticket is one thousand Naira adults and five hundred Naira for kids.

On Good Friday is the opening ceremony, Saturday would be kiddies games, on Easter Sunday there would be family fiesta. 

The fun would be followed with day outing on Monday and would be rounded off with Karaoke competition on and singing competitions on Tuesday.

Inaugurating the fun city experience, the Managing Director of Tourism Bureau, Mr Ojoi Ekpenyong, said: "This Easter is another happening period, another season of experience and Sweetness at Marian Resort Water front.

"The one-stop fun city would make fun seekers feel relaxed with their families and have a memorable Easter as it would be full of activities."

Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to Governor Bassey Otu on general duties, Ekpenyong Akiba Esq, lauded the management and staff of the Bureau for being in the forefront of translating the Governor's tourism dreams to reality.

He said the fun centre will spice up the Easter celebration in Calabar and showcase the unique hospitality and culinary profile of the City.
