Breaking: Professor Michael Ugota Awoke appointed EBSU Vice Chancellor

Ebonyi State governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has appointed Professor Michael Ugota Awoke as Vice Chancellor of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.
Professor Awoke's appointment came upon the expiration of the incumbent Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Chigozie Ogbu.
Until his appointment, Prof. Awoke was Director, Work and Study programme ( WASP) Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, Federal commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Ebonyi State.
Professor Michael Ugota Awoke is a distinguished academic in the field of Agricultural Economics, currently serving at Ebonyi State University in Abakaliki, Nigeria. His research primarily focuses on econometrics and production economics.
Throughout his career, Prof. Awoke has made significant contributions to agricultural research. Notably, he co-authored the book "Determinants of Resource-Use Efficiency of Smallholder Rice Farmers," which examines factors influencing the efficient use of resources among smallholder rice farmers.
