BREAKING: 2025 Budget: C'River  Gov, Otu, Proposes N498 Billion For 2025 As Infrastructure, Education, Health, Judiciary, Assembly, Aviation Top Chart

The Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has proposed N498bn as the state's budget for the 2025 fiscal year.

The proposed budget tagged the "Budget of Sustainable Growth"  earmarked 328 billion (66%) as Capital Expenditure and 170(34%)for Recurrent Expenditure.

Mr.Speaker, for the 2025 fiscal year, we have proposed a total budget size of N498b (Four Hundred and Ninety-Eight Billion Naira) only.

The breakdown shows that of the sum,  N328b represents  66% of the total budget size is allocated to Capital Expenditure while the Recurrent Expenditure has N170b representing about 34% of the total Budget size.

Further breakdown shows Infrastructure N100bn, Education N81bn, Health N25bn and Judiciary N20bn.

Others are House of Assembly N18b,  Aviation N16bn, Special Duties/Intergovernmental Affairs N15b, Power N14b
