Any Lawmaker Who Failed To Raise Point of Order On Floor of Senate Has Lost Right To Complain, Says Sani

The former senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has note that any lawmaker or senator who had issues with the voice not or quorum, that was used by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, he or she should have raised a point of order on the floor and insist on being heard.
Speaking further, the former lawmaker made it known that the lawmaker is not expected to silent in the chamber and then come to the social media to raise objection.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle, shortly after Senator Kingibe made a post on her X handle, speaking against the voice note that was used by Senator Akpabio.
In addition, the former lawmaker made it known that if there is no quorum, it is simply because some lawmakers deliberately chose to abstain, to avoid problems.
He wrote: "If any lawmaker had issues with voice votes or quorum, he or she is supposed to raise a point of order on the floor and insist on being heard; and not be silent in the chamber then come to the media to raise objections. If there is no quorum, it’s because some lawmakers deliberately chose to.
