Abitto Global Services Set To Launch Uyo - Calabar Ferry Services

In a bid to offer alternative transport services between Cross River and neighboring Akwa Ibom state, Abitto Global Services is set to launch its ferry services.

The ultramodern ferry service company will ferry passengers through the waterways from the heart of Uyo in Akwa Ibom to Calabar in Cross River state and vice versa.

The Managing Director Abitto Global Services, Mr. Richard Akinaka, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the transport company would serve an alternative transport system different from road transport for people traveling between both states.

He hinted that the ultramodern well air-conditioned jetties at both ends and purpose built ferry boats were built by Abitto Global Service and are ready for launch.

He added that the service will be opened in a couple of weeks to commence operations.
