54th Birthday: Liyel, Senators, Reps, Others Hail Jarigbe's Contributions To Nigeria's Democracy

The former Governor of Cross River state , Sen. Liyel Imoke has commended the contribution to the Senator representing Cross River North in the Red Chamber, Jarigbe Agom-Jarigbe over what his described as his "modest" contribution to the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
Imoke was joined in give the commendation by the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Engr. Gbenga Komolafe and the Senate Minority Whip, Senator Osita Ngwu (Enugu West) at the occasion of Agom-Jarigbe 54 birthday celebration in Abuja on Monday.
The Enugu West Senator who led other senators and House of representatives delegation to Agom-Jarigbe resident for the occasion, also described the Cross River North Senators as a passionate lover of his people.
In their messages, they hailed Agom-Jarigbe as a dedicated and selfless leader who has made significant impacts on the lives of his constituents and the nation at large.
“As you celebrate another year of a life marked by impact, we acknowledge and commend your tireless efforts in promoting national harmony, fostering legislative excellence and championing the interests of the Nigerian people,” Ngwu stated.
They praised his commitment to good governance, his advocacy for the welfare of his people and his unrelenting efforts to promote peace and development in Nigeria.
On their part, the Cross River State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in their felicitation message said: "We take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate you for your outstanding leadership qualities, which have endeared you to your constituents and beyond.
"Above all, we celebrate your compassionate commitment to the welfare of the people through your numerous

Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, is the chairman Senate committee on Gas, and has been a champion of progressive legislation and strong advocate for the rights and interests of his constituents.
In his thank you message, the lawmaker reiterated his commitment to serving his people and the nation with dedication, integrity and selflessness.
The birthday celebration was marked with fanfare as friends, family and well-wishers from all walks of life, gathered to offer prayers and gifts in honour of the Senator.
