Jarigbe Restores Electricity Supply to Communities After Years in Darkness

Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, has completed the installation of new 500KVA transformers in Abouchiche and Ketting communities in Bekwarra and Obanliku Local Government Areas.

The initiative is part of the senator’s ongoing effort to ensure equitable power distribution across communities in Cross River North while stabilizing electricity supply.

Represented by his Constituency Officer, Mr. Egar Mgbantul, Senator Jarigbe said reliable electricity remains a foundation for development. Mr. Egar emphasized that access to steady power would boost industrial growth, strengthen healthcare services, and improve educational outcomes.

Residents of the benefiting communities expressed profound gratitude, describing the project as more than an infrastructure upgrade. “These transformers are more than just electricity; they represent hope, progress, and the return of economic and social life to our communities. We thank Senator Jarigbe for bringing light back to our people after years of blackouts,” they said.
