Yakurr, Abi HOLGAs Commend LG Commissioner's Commitment Towards Grassroot Development

The Cross River State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Chief Felix Idem has received commendations for his commitment to grassroot development through local government administration.
The plaudits poured out when Chief Idem visited Yakurr and Abi Local Government Councils, Thursday, being day 3 of his inspection tour of the 18 Local Government Councils of the State.
At Yakurr Local Government Council, the Commissioner's first point of call for the day, the Council's Head of Local Government Administrations (HOLGA), Mrs Ayuk Rita Egbe hailed Chief Idem for his passion and concern towards the improvement of productivity levels, infrastructure development, revenue generation in the local government areas of the State.
Also speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration, Abi, thanked the Commissioner for his purposeful leadership, which she maintained, has brought the best out of heads of local governments in the State.
In his response, Commissioner Idem, who is also the Chairman of Cross River State Commissioners Forum, expressed gratitude to Governor Bassey Otu for finding him worthy to serve in his Cabinet. He commended the HOLGAs and Staff of both LGAs for maintaining a serene environment and holding forte the Councils.
He urged Local Government Councils to put their hands on the plough in assisting the Governor Bassey Otu-led administration in the delivery of democracy dividends to the grassroots level of the State.
