Relief In Sight For Motorists As FG Approves N26.335bn For Cal-Itu,Ikom-Ogoja Road Network In C'River

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N26.335 billion for the rehabilitation of the Odukpani Junction-Apeti section of the Calabar-Ikom-Ogoja Road in Cross River state. 

The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, who disclosed his after FEC meeting presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House in Abuja, said the federal highway has suffered undue delay and the President is poised to tackle infrastructural decay in the country.

Umahi said the Calabar-Ikom-Ogoja Road is a critical artery in Cross River State that links several communities and facilitates economic activities across the South-South, South East and Northern part of the country
