Nation's Sports Boss Applauds Falcons win Over Fiesty Lucy

The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan-Enoh has applauded the exceptional 4-0 victory  of the Nigerian female team, the Super Falcons over the Fiesty Lucy of Ethiopia.

The Minister who was speaking to Journalists yesterday at the end of the match at Moshood Abiola stadium,Abuja said the victory calls for celebration.

He said ",I Feel good about the victory especially considering the goal margin of 4-0 and called on Nigerians at home and abroad to give necessary support and encouragement to the team.

Owan-Enoh disclosed that it was his second match since assumption of office as Minister and stated that the two tournaments confirms  the policy objective of the President Tinubu to ensure growth and create job opportunities for the teaming youths.

With this win, the Super Falcons have progressed to the third round of African qualifiers for next year's women Olympic football Tournament.
