Bobby Ekpenyong Hails Otu's Victory at Supreme Court, Calls On All Parties, Subgroups to Support Administration

A PDP chieftain in Cross River state, Hon. Bobby Effiom Ekpenyon, has hailed Governor Bassey Otu' verdict at the Supreme Court.
Ekpenyong in a congratulatory message made available to THE BEAGLE NEWS in Calabar, described the judgement as "affirmative action."
The statement read in part: "On behalf of my family , I Congratulate His Excellency Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State; Her Excellency Rev (Mrs) Eyoanwan Edet Otu, the first lady and His Excellency Hon. Peter Odey, Deputy Governor of Cross River State on the affirmation of their electoral victory by the supreme court of Nigeria.
"This affirmative action by them has concluded all issues of electoral litigations and open the space for Governance.
"It is now time for Cross Riverians from all political parties and all ethnic subgroups to rise up and support our Governor in order to return Cross River state to it lost glory and enviable heights. Indeed, Power comes from God.
"Kindly, accept Your Excellencies my family best wishes during the period of your Stewardship and Almighty God grant you more wisdom to lead your people," it stated.
